Terms and Conditions
My first project for a new client is invoiced 50% upfront (payable immediately) and 50% on completion (payable within 30 days). Work will start when payment has cleared in my bank account and when I have received either a purchase order for the quoted amount, or an e-mail confirming your acceptance of the budget.
For all subsequent projects, work is normally invoiced in arrears for payment within 30 days. Lengthy projects (two months or more) are part-invoiced monthly for an agreed percentage of the total sum quoted. Where a client or design agency delays the project, I reserve the right to invoice work undertaken to date.
Any subsequent changes to the agreed brief, once the project has started, may incur an additional copywriting fee.
Although I always make every effort to adhere to agreed deadlines, I reserve the right to alter this if the client or design agency breaks their deadline. Your confirmation that you would like me to proceed with the project means you agree to my terms and conditions.
I take great care to ensure there are no typos or mistakes in my work. However, it is the client’s responsibility to double check the content before it is signed off. Once the client has instructed the project to go to print/digital artwork, it is his or her responsibility if there are any errors.
Under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, copyright of the words I create remains my intellectual property right.
